Well, my recollection of when the insomnia started was when I was in my thirties, nearly half my life. The trouble sleeping was waking up six or eight times a night.
Everybody around me would be sleeping. Dogs, partner snoring, and having to chase the thoughts of the things that I had to do the next day, which is would keep me awake even longer. The lack of sleep left me feeling fuzzy and disconnected and unable to be my best and to follow through with the things that I wanted to do in a day. I don’t think people knew me any other way than the person who hadn’t slept the night before. It affected everything. Finding relief led me on a journey, trying multiple things. I adjusted the temperature of the room. I made it darker.
I got blackout curtains. I stayed away from devices. Having a really beautiful, comfortable bedroom, trying so many pillows, so many pillows, and it helped, but it still wasn’t the answer. I had resigned myself to just having to accept that that was what my life was.
Shortly after learning about QUVIVIQ, that it was something designed for nightly use, really got my curiosity. After all the years of trying to find the answer, I was very ready to try something different. One of the things that my doctor brought to my attention when we had that first discussion, that it was something that you had to keep taking in order to get the results. So I committed to that, and after taking it every night over a couple of weeks, it felt like I wasn’t waking up as much. After the month, it felt even better, and it seems to have continued to improve. I use an app on my smartwatch that reminds me it’s time to take it, leave the bottle on the nightstand, so it’s right there as I’m heading for bed with a glass of water, and I’m able to drift off to sleep. After building a healthy sleep routine, adding QUVIVIQ seems to be the missing piece that I wasn’t able to find before, and it helped me improve my sleep. I’m able to do the things during the day that I want to. Get the dogs fed, get outside, take nice walks. Having QUVIVIQ to take every night took the guesswork out of getting to sleep. Oh, knowing I’m gonna fall asleep tonight is priceless.
Um, It’s an answer to a prayer. Everybody needs to follow their own path. If my story can help anyone, it’s to keep trying. Find what works for you. Speak to your doctor about QUVIVIQ.
